Awhile ago, I named myself a Whit Kitter, and it stuck with me! So, if you see me overusing this title...don't be surprised. It's a really cool thing to be, so if you aren't already, you could be a Whit Kitter too! I decided to not do just ONE, not just TWO...but THREE cards, featuring the 3 different stamp images found in the January Hello Warm Fuzzies January 2026 Whit Kit . What's really cool...if you miss the kit ... you can buy the stamp/paper contents later on...but, if you are a kit member...there are definite additional perks and fun product inside, you very well may want to look into being a Whit Kitter. I get the benefit of earning discounts on future orders, discounted pricing on previous kit stamps, etc... plus...it's just plain FUN to look forward to a kit to get delivered to me every month!
I decided to play with the January Whit Kit...(still waiting for my February one to arrive, they get mailed on the date you originally become a subscriber. You can change that date, however, I just need to do it.)
I really need to emphasize what great value these kits have....Inside each kit, for sure is always a fun stamp set and patterned paper too...but often there will be an additional die set, stencils, embellishments, etc. February 2026 Books and Quiet Moments Whit Kit is the current kit available, mine should be in my mailbox, any day now! (I could have used the current set for an image I need for my Friday posting!!!)
My first card...
What really caught my eye, was the holographic / twinkly star adhesive sheets that were included in this kit. I am and have been a HUGE fan of the sheets, I use them ALL.THE.TIME... Another crafter in one of the facebook groups suggested it, and I decided to give it a whirl. I found it online, and decided to check it out...since then...I've become a huge user of it... Seeing it in the kit, I thought, what a good way for someone to try it out before buying a big bunch! You can see those twinkly stars on my ink blended background sky... Fun tidbit...those little (stapled) banner type accents at the top of this card?...I used a snip of the packaging that is tucked inside with the paper....you know the one that has a little panel snip picture of each design? I didn't want to cut into a full sheet...and I only needed a teeny piece. I hadn't worked on my 3rd card yet, so I didn't know if I'd have extra of it or not, and I didn't want to sacrifice another page of it!!!
My second card.... I used a little more of the holographic paper this time...and applied it to the actual fun designer paper!!! I didn't stop there...and decided my little dude needed it too! Unlike the 2 other images, I decided NOT to fussy cut this little critter out but stamp, color and use all on the same panel, with the twinkly background...it worked. The kit included some fun ephemera, like the first card...I used one of the preprinted sentiments (strips), one that matched the paper. I used the heart in the first card.
My 3rd card... I learned somewhere in my crafting life, the term, "looks like an Easter Egg" for colors...and that stuck with me... Since that comment on...I have attempted to limit the amount of colors (or color scheme) I use on a card. This card was telling me to stick with silver (gray) maroon and white...it worked for me, then I realized...our little cutie has a carrot nose. No way, could I have colored that anything but orange. I kind of like that little orange accent! On this card, I went a little crazy with the snowflakes. The snowflake(s) die set was also included in the kit, and as you see, they made it to all 3 cards. If you see one that might look like it doesn't belong? It's covering up a glue blob! This time, I chose to use one of the several stamp sentiments included in the stamp set, the hardest part was choosing which one to use. They all were cute! On all three of these cards...the only thing I added from my stash were the rhinestones (first 2) and silver flat backed pearls on my shiny silver snowflakes. (not counting card stock besides the designer paper)
1. Good Value. These kits contain many elements to play with. This would be great for a new stamper.
2. Innovative, fun and trendy designs.
3. Additional Unity Stamp perks...discounts on previous Whit Kit stamp sets, and special discounts and perks with the company for being a member.
4. You can put your membership on hold prior to your scheduled ship date, I'm not sure how many days in advance you need to alert the company, because I've never done it. I've been a Whit Kitter for awhile now, and I sure look forward to each month receiving my "kit"s. (I'm a Backgrounder too, lol)
5. I wish I had taken a picture of all the contents laid out to show you how much is included. I only used 3 sheets of the included designer paper (with scraps left over), so tons more can be made, the ephemera included have some really fun options, they'd be great also as accents for scrapbook pages too! Possibilities are endless!
6. So here you go: (You're Welcome, if you now can't get this tune out of your head!)
I'm a Kitter, He's a Kitter, She's a Kitter, Wouldn't You Like to Be a Kitter Too?!
(bonus points if you remember that tune!!! lol!) (I had to think a bit, it didn't come to me instantly, although it should have. Thank goodness for Google!)
Til tomorrow! I'll be showcasing something from my most favorite line that Unity offers!
Oh and ... LEAVE COMMENTS! You will be eligible to be one of 2 Unity gift credit ($20), but you have to comment!!!! Check out my Instagram and Facebook too!

ReplyDeleteThese are absolutely adorable!!! Tell me more about this holographic paper!! Where do you find it ? In the 2nd card did you stamp directly on it?
ReplyDeleteI just added a link to the end of my post! :) I see I've purchased 3 times. I bought a bunch to make goodie bags at a craft gig I went to...made some fun emergency supplies for all of "us" at the table! :) I love the stuff!
DeleteI hit send too fast. I did not stamp directly on it, but with certain inks, you can. I'll need to refresh my memory which ones. It can be a mess, I'm thinking it's the dye inks, I tend to apply the sticker paper over the stamped image more. I colored my little guy first, then applied the holographic paper, then ran through my Big Shot with the stitched rectangle die. Thx for the compliment! :)
